Biology Mock Test for NEET 2027: 360 Strategy and Free Practice
90 questions, 360 marks — how often to test Biology, which NCERT units to rotate, and a Sunday-before-full-mock routine.
Biology is 90 / 180 questions and 360 / 720 marks. A Physics-only mock schedule is how 650 targets die at 520. This is the MockX Biology mock test plan for NEET 2027 — built for students who also sit full-syllabus papers.
Practise mixed Biology on MockX and in the topic navigator.
How a Biology mock should look
| Setting | Target |
|---|---|
| Questions | 90 (Class 11 + 12 mix) |
| Time | 45–50 minutes in a full paper; 60 minutes if Biology-only drill |
| Marking | +4 / −1 |
| Source | NCERT-first PYQ + fresh wording |
A “60-second YouTube quiz” is revision, not a mock.
Weekly rotation (so you do not only revise Reproduction)
Week A — Class 11 diversity + plant physiology
Week B — Human physiology + reproduction
Week C — Genetics + biotech + evolution
Week D — Ecology + full 90-Q mixed
Then repeat. Ecology and diversity are where “I will do it later” students bleed 40 marks.
Keep NCERT diagrams: heart, nephron, flower, DNA packaging, food web. 2026-style papers still lift captions (2026 paper lessons).
Timing inside the real 180-minute paper
Most 650+ scripts finish Biology in 40–50 minutes with 80+ attempts and very few negatives.
Drill:
- Easy NCERT fact → mark immediately
- Assertion-reason / statement → 40 seconds then flag
- Never spend 3 minutes arguing with a confusing example
If CBT arrives, practise the same 90 clicks on a screen so you do not over-flag (CBT explainer).
Error log tags that actually work
- NCERT line unread
- Diagram unlabelled
- Similar options (hormones / phyla)
- Overthink
Once a tag hits 5 questions, that unit gets a same-day NCERT reread, not another random mock.
Pairing with Physics and Chemistry
Saturday Biology mock + Sunday full mock is enough. Two Biology-only papers on Saturday and Sunday will fry recall. Protect sleep in the last eight weeks before the expected May window.
Q1: Where can I take a free Biology mock test for NEET 2027? A: Use MockX chapter and full tests, then sit a 90-question mix with +4/−1. Follow with a Sunday 180-question paper.
Q2: How many Biology mocks per week? A: One focused Biology mock plus the Biology section inside your full mock. Daily 15 PYQs beat a second full 90 on weekdays.
Q3: Is NCERT enough for NEET Biology 2027? A: It is the base. Mocks expose which lines you only “recognised” instead of knew. Modules are optional after NCERT is twice done.
Conclusion
Treat Biology like the half-paper it is. One honest 90-question mock a week, NCERT rereads on the error tags, and a Sunday full paper on MockX is the 360-mark path — CBT or OMR.
