Common questions before exam day include whether phones, watches, or calculators are allowed at NEET PG centres. Per the official admit card, the answer is almost always no. NBEMS publishes a strict prohibited items list — even one banned item can mean denied entry or debarment.

Prohibited items — common questions answered
NEET PG me mobile phone allowed hai?
No. Cell phones, tablets, pen drives, pagers, and AI-enabled glasses are strictly banned. Centres have no locker — leave your phone at home or with family.
NEET PG me watch / smartwatch allowed?
No. Wrist watches, health bands, and smartwatches are prohibited — including analog watches.
NEET PG me pen pencil le ja sakte hain?
No. Do not carry pens, pencils, erasers, or rough paper. A digital calculator appears on your computer screen during the CBT exam.
NEET PG calculator allowed?
Physical calculator — no. Digital calculator on screen — yes (provided by the system).
NEET PG me Bluetooth earphones / AirPods?
No. All Bluetooth, earphones, microphones, and hidden communication devices are banned.
NEET PG ornaments — ring, chain, earrings allowed?
No — bracelets, rings, earrings, nose pins, chains, pendants. Religious items only after full security check.
NEET PG water bottle / khana le ja sakte hain?
No outside food or water bottles. Water is provided at the centre. No opened or packed snacks.
Wallet, bag, belt, cap, mask allowed?
No. Travel with only mandatory documents. No safekeeping at the centre.
Alcohol, weapons, sharp objects?
Immediate denial of entry if found under influence or carrying weapons/sharp objects.
Identity check at centre — kya hoga?
Photo, thumb impression, and checks on spectacles/medical devices for hidden electronics.
Exam ke beech dusre students se baat?
No. Raise hand for invigilator only. Talking = misconduct.
Unfair means / cheating pakde gaye to?
Debarment from exam + action under NBEMS Unfair Means Guidelines.
Computer screen ke instructions follow karne honge?
Yes — mandatory during the CBT.
Belongings centre par rakh sakte hain?
No arrangement for bags, phones, or valuables.
